The Nokia C2 comes with a plastic back panel that looks matte-finished but it’s actually not. It is available in two color variants, Black and Cyan. It feels easy on the hands and has slightly curved edges that help with the grip. The buttons are made of plastic but are clicky enough. You also get a dedicated Google Assistant button on this phone that can be remapped to some other function via a third-party app.
The Nokia C2 has a 5.7-inches IPS LCD panel that has HD+resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The core display has good colors and viewing angles. The front also has a flashlight along with the 5MP selfie camera.
About the cameras, there is a 5MP camera on the back as well that isn’t that sharp but with a well lit environment, you can get a few good shots. With slightly dark lighting, the photos become more and more grainy. The front camera’s photos are nothing extra but will work fine for video- calling purposes.
Given the fact that it runs on the Android Go version, you get the Quad-core Unisoc SoC clocked at 1.4GHz along with 1GB RAM and 16GB storage. So, running light apps and games is not a problem with this phone. But tasks like multitasking is far- fetched. For the phone to run properly, we toggled the “Don’t keep activities” settings inside the developer options.
Battery-wise, you get a 2,700 mAh battery that is very enduring. With activities like binging Youtube and Web browsing, you can get 5-6 hours of screen on time. However, you only get a 5- Watt charger inside the box that fully fills the battery in 2 hours and 52 minutes.
Extras on the phone include a face unlock option that takes some time and a headphone jack along with a pair of earphones that come along.
